Former Carless Oil Refinery

A 47 acre site, formerly the Carless Oil Refinery site at Old Kirkpatrick in Clydebank.

The Carless site is part of a wider regeneration strategy for the Clyde Corridor. It is included in the Clydebank re-built Urban Regeneration Company's masterplan to make the area more competitive with a quality living and working environment.

Once regenerated, the 47 acre site will provide a multi-million pound mixed use development to include commercial buildings such as offices, bulky goods retail and hybrid industrial units and a new marina complex.

The remainder of the site is mostly residential, with apartments fronting the river and a good mix of approximately 400 private and affordable housing. A new bridge over the Forth and Clyde Canal is also planned
